How to report a phone stolden

@Ramoutar  First off remove your number this is a public forum. Did you try calling your number maybe the person that found it will return it. If your phone was an Android device you might be able to find, lock, or erase a lost Android device. Click here for more info.

 

If you can't find it then declare your phone lost /stolen via selfserve.

Purchase a new sim card and select the change sim card option via selfserve and insert it in your replacement phone.

You can also submit a ticket to PM and ask them to blacklist your stolen device by providing them the IMEI number of the device.

 

To submit a ticket to the Moderator Team, please start a conversation with the Public's virtual assistant, SIMon by clicking  here or the icon (bottom right of your screen).

If you are still having problems contacting Public Mobile then click here. The link  sends you to the private message function and adds the moderator team as recipient for a private message. You just have to enter a title and text in the body of the message describing the problem and post. The message will be received by the moderator team and they will respond to it. You will receive the response in your private message inbox.

Please note that account verification may be required when contacting the Moderator Team

If your Phone is lost or stolen, you can Suspend your service if you’d like to prevent any calls or messages from being sent or received. Doing so will not keep your plan from expiring; however, it will ensure that your credit card is not charged at your next renewal date if you’re on AutoPay.Just follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Self-Serve account
  2. Go to Plan and Add-Ons > Lost/Stolen Phone
  3. Select Suspend Service

Note that after 90 days in suspend, your account will be deactivated permanently so be sure to return to this page if you find your phone or decide to get a new SIM card.

Please also click the 3 dots on right side of your post and select the edit post option. Remove your phone number as this is a public forum and everyone can see it.

 

Not sure if you have an android or iPhone however both offer ways to track your phone with Find My iPhone , android Find My device.

 

You should see if you could locate it via that method. You could also send it a message, lock the phone, call it, and worse case wipe the device completely.

 

When you get a new phone you will need a brand new sim. Once you have a new sim card go into your account and click "change sim card".

@Ramoutar Go in your selfserve and report your phone lost/stolen (under the "Plan and Add-on" tab) this will suspend your service
