Picked-up a used unlocked phone, put the Public SIM card in, but data doesnt seem to be working? Any suggestions? Have I missed a step (or two), or should it just work?

Any feedback greatly appreciated....

@jrprvs2000  just data not working?  how about calls and text?  incoming and outgoing?

What do you see on the top of the screen? do you see Public Mobile? and the signal level?

If it is just data, it is APN issue.    What kind of phone is that ? brand and model?

If iPhone, you might need to plug the phone to a computer, launch iTune to download the latest update and carrier profile

If it is an LG, you might have to do a network reset

if it is other brands and model , let us know.
