Blackview BV9800 pro

Blackview BV9800 Pro is not included in the compatibility checker. Does that mean it will not work with Public Mobile? Or is it just to new to be included in the checker?

You've omitted the most important frequencies that this phone has that are required for Public Mobile.  LTE is not required for service at Public.  The 3g/HSPA frequency are far more important because they can be used for voice, text, and data, but is required for vocie phone calls.

i put a link to view the bv9800 frequencies.

the picture was a reference to show what frequencies pm uses and what the 4g bands represent.

Yes, the link did have that information for frequency information. My concern was with that a future customer might see this screenshot and then only research LTE frequencies. There have been a few cases in the past of customer purchashing phones that worked for data and text messaging on LTE but that weren't capable of phone calls on Public Mobile.

When wanting to use a new phone on Public Mobile, I would direct you to go to the Telus website and see if telus offers that phone or check if it can be used on the Telus network since Public Mobile opperates on the Telus network.

If there's band 4 LTE, it's a North America compatible phone which means the 3G bands will be compatible.

a word of caution; a customer who had a similar type phone wasn't able to get data working because their APN settings were greyed out. there is a workaround for this, but it involves inserting a freedom mobile sim

Many phones not listed working fine.

It doesn't need to be on any list to work. If it has 850 and 1900 for 3g, it'll work.
