@waltermurray

your phone may be blacklisted. This can happen long after a sale for a stolen phone, or one with an oustanding carrier balance (see: https://www.devicecheck.ca/check-status-device-canada/).

Does Sim work in another phone?

If yes then we have to figure out what is the issue with your phone.

Does your account say ACTIVE?

For blacklist ....  check here.

Is this phone new to you?  If it works on one phone and not the other it is a phone issue.  Let us know what model of phone it is and if you got it new or second hand

Then there's an issue w/ your phone that lost the service.

It is a used phone, unlocked and was working up to today!

Is this a used phone? Or did you buy it new?

If used, check the compatibility/stolen status up top under Get Started.

If your sim card works in another phone then it would be an issue with your phone.  What brand and model do you have ?  Is your phone unlocked or did you use another provider ?

Yes, and I mentioned that already. OP claims to have tried that in addition to my other suggestions.

Did all those things, still not picking up Public Mobile service!

@waltermurray if the phone was purchased(used) there is a good chance it was blacklisted

Hmmm, and it worked okay recently? What model of phone is it? Have you tried the usual culprits like rebooting, taking sim card out then putting it back in (testing in another phone if possible), resetting network settings, etc?

Can you log into self service to see what your Account Status is? Were you up for renewal?
