Renewal date different from account vs text message.

Hi, so my account says my renewal date is March 4.  I believe that's correct since my last renewal was February 4.  But i just got a text message from PM saying my renewal date is March 1.  What gives?

@Korth  Ive come close with my roommates account...picked up a voucher for him and added it to his account with about 7 minutes to spare.

Oh yeah, leap year.

 

I'm guessing that the 11:59 (or rather 23:59) payment deadline is EST? PM operates on Toronto time, lol.

 

I've never tested payment at the last-minute cutoff, with or without my 3 hour PST-vs-EST difference.

@Korth  I think you are forgetting that 2020 is a leap year.

 

@mobileguy  611 will give you the accurate date. The account date is a little misleading. While it is correct the payment must be made by 11:59 pm et the day before your renewal date. If your renewal date says March 4th then payment is due by 11:59pm et March 3rd.

Self-Serve is accurate even if the autoreminder texts are off schedule.

 

"30 days" is not "1 month" (yeah, it is some months but not all). 12 billing cycles is 360 days, not one year.

Plan from Feb 4 should renew on Mar 6, then Apr 5, etc. SMS notifications should arrive 3 days before renew date (ignore if already paid or AutoPay, etc), then again on last day of plan if not enough funds to renew.

A lot of people have gotten the text apparently its freaking everyone out. As

@dabr  suggested ignore the text .

 

I would not worry about it.  Whats listed on myself serve account would be your only plan renewal date!

@mobileguy  You're not alone, it seems like some glitch in PM's system is sending these error messages to a lot of customers.  You can check your correct payment date via 611.  Plus just ignore this message since you know it's wrong:).
