Hi. I did today top up online using recharge.com. just visit www.recharge.com and click "START RECHARGE", then in the next page Click on "Public Mobile" . in the next page select the amount you need to recharge and put your credit card information. you will immediately see on the confirmation page the "Recharge Code". Dial from your Public mobile phone *611 and select 2 times "1" after listening to the automated voice options. Enter the code from recharge.com and you're all set. The amount you selected will be added to your account.

This is a questionable solution to a post that did not ask a question but in itself was a solution. Not all threads require solutions.

Good summary.

It seems like a useful tool for folks who can't (for whatever reason) place payment cards on their service and can't (easily) get out to a merchant to purchase a Public Mobile Payment Voucher.
