Own/using the sim but didn't register with email

My friend recently divorced with her husband, her ex-husband taking care of those things before. She want to know what she can to do cancle the sim ?

She own the sim card and credit card is using for auto pay , but don't want to cancle her sim card. but can't log on by email to cancle the autopay. Please help and advice.

@xiaogegeyingShe can use the 611 IVR to disable the autopay option (use the chart that @z10user4 had created https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Self-Serve/611-IVR-Menu-System/m-p/289352) If she doesn't care about her number, the account will close after 90 days. The system is in place to proect the majority of users, not edge cases like this.

 

I hope your friend take this rather cheap lesson to always take destiny in your own hands.

But password reset will be only for email . she even don't know what is email address is.:(

@xiaogegeyingIf she has physical control of the SIM card, she can try the password recovery system to see if that works.

 

However for the path of least resistance just base on your description, you can spend $10 get a $4 Bell SIM card (from $rama) and a day plan, port out the number with her IMEI (that way, she will keep control of the number and the accountv will be closed once it get ported to Bell). or cancel / change the credit card # with the bank.
