Credit card charge not listed in PAYMENT tab

On Jan 7, my credit card is charged $1.13 for my husband's PM plan which I manage.   However, this payment is not reflected in the payment tab on his account.  His payment cycle was on Jan 7.  Any insight?

My guess is someone didn't agree with the solution.

Or thought it was a mistake.

That would have been me. I thought that the solution was given by mistake because the post that was marked didn't discuss anything asked or mentioned in the first post of the thread, but rather just seemed to answer a short folow-up question.

Mystery solved!

That makes sense.  Here's a follow-up question:  What is 'automatic top-up' and which triggers it?

@OliviaLuong  The automatic top-up gets triggered by  the renewal process and occurs as a result of enabling AutoPay on your account.

The formula is:

Plan cost - (credits + rewards) = Amount owing. If the result is greater than zero an Automatic top-up gets triggered.

You registered your credit card on your self-serve account.

The charge corresponds to the third entry labelled "Automatic Top-Up/Réapprovisionnements auto."

Any amounts you see in the payment history tab do not include tax.

On February 6 2020, your next plan renewal will likely cost $13 plus taxes.

It's autopay. When you don't have enough in your Available Funds to cover the plan cost.

It looks like you activated on Dec 8. It looks like you chose autopay at start up. It looks you had a referral. These two options got your account up $12 from the start. Then at the Jan renewal you get the $2 autopay reward bringing you to $14. Your plan is $15. You needed to kick in another dollar to pay for it. Thus the $1 plus your relevant taxes on your payment card.

Your Feb renewal will be $13 plus relevant taxes (assuming several factors not being present)

@OliviaLuong  - The amount shown here does not include the taxes.  i suspect you are in a province that has 13% tax rate.  Thus the $1 charge on Jan 7 shows up as 1.13 on your CC.

Therefore @OliviaLuong  must be living in Ontario..... 😉
