Hi I am trying to port a number from a previous provider.
In the porting screen they are asking for Equipment Serial Number. Is this the IMEI or the serial number of the device?

@Nina19 , just to answer your original question, it is the IMEI number.

I don't remember having to fill in the serial number of a device, so probably the IMEI and you need the account number from your other carrier.

@Nina19 Best to only use account number, name on account and the phone number. If your provider is Speakout use your PIN number instead of account number. If you are coming from Fido or chatr you need to call them and get your account number.
