A friend (that I help with stuff like this) has a Coolpad Snap from Koodo. Telus also offers the Coolpad Snap, so I would think that it should work with Public Mobile. However it does not appear in the compatibility list. ??? It would be great to hear from someone who has first hand experience with this phone.

Thank you. So far I wasn't able to confirm that it had both 3G and 4G capability, but the link you sent shows that it does.

@mr4chnt according to this site https://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/feature-phones/coolpad-snap/tech-specs-coolpad-snap#specs its got the required 3g and 4g LTE bands. So its 100 percent compatible with PM. Stay safe.
Here's 4 articles on activation and porting and the Refer a friend reward if you need them:

It would make sense that if it works on Telus or Koodo then it would work on Public, but I'm hoping for a more reassuring answer than that.

My understanding is that public uses limited aspects of the telus system, for example phones have to be 3G compatible. So phone that are just 4G won't work. Most phones are backward compatible but not all.
It would be great is I was wrong! That's why I'm asking.

@mr4chnt Telus, Koodo and Public Mobile run on the same network so it is compatible and there is no need to check any compatibility site.

This is definitely compatible with the Telus network, although this device has some horrendous reviews from what I have seen. 🙄
Here is a Telus support article, PM runs on the Telus network so anything that is supported by Telus would be supported by PM for the most part.

@mr4chnt Both Koodo and Public Mobile are part of the Telus family and run on the same network. It will work here. Stay safe.
