Will my old phone work on public mobile?

I'm thinking of reviving an old cell phone that was sitting in a drawer, by using public mobile.  I ran the "check if your phone is compatible" checker on the getting started page.  The results were:

(Y) 3G 850MHz, 1900MHz
(N) 4G LTE Device does not support 4G LTE bands

As my plan for this phone is primarily for talk, and possibly some text (SMS), will it work for me? I don't care about data (maybe MMS, but probably that doesn't matter either).

Thank you 🙂

Thanks BKNS27.  You're right it was locked at one point, but I since unlocked it so I should be good from that perspective.

Please note if you got your before December 2017. The Nokia phone will be locked so contact the carrier where you got the phone and get the code to have the phone unlocked.

Yes your Nokia 610 should work in 3G.

@Notre : That phone should be able to do it all in 3G HSDPA. You might need the one-up SIM-frame. It uses micro.

Thanks for the quick reply. It's the Nokia Lumia 610

@Notre : Looks like it can do talk. Then it can do text. Post the exact make/model/submodel and we might see if it can do any data.
