Unlocking my iPhone 7

I am trying to unlock my iPhone 7, I was told it would be set but now that I am in New Zealand, my new SIM card won’t work in my phone. Looking for help to unlock my phone,

You would have to go to the original provider of the iPhone ....Bell , Rogers ,Telus or whom ever and have them unlock it . They will provide you with the unlock code free of charge provided you do not owe any balance on the phone. 

Also Public Mobile does not work in New Zealand . It only works in Canada and USA. Not sure if you are trying to use Public Mobile service on New Zealand or not, but like I said Public Mobile only works in Canada and USA.

Where did you get your phone from? You usually need to go to the carrier you got your phone from and they can unlock it for you. In Canada it is usually free of charge but im not sure about elsewhere.

@jacqieferrisSince Public Mobile doesn't sell iPhone 7 you will need to go to the phone's previous carrier to get it unlocked?
