* Data looks okay

* Inbound / Outbound text looks okay

* Outgoing calls looks okay

* Inbound calls ---- NOT okay

Hello @Vickylizz ,

You said you received a text message, so I presume that was from your previous provider to approve the port?

If the previous provider was a cell number, the porting should complete in 2-3 hours.

Incoming calls are usually the last to port over.

In the meantime, try one or more of the below:

*turn off your phone, leave off for a minutes, then reboot

*removing your SIM for a few minutes, then reinserting it

*go into airplane mode for a few minutes, then going back to regular mode

*reset network settings on your device

@Vickylizz

First of all, did you confirm to a SMS text from your previous carrier.

If you did, try powering off the phone and wait a couple of minutes then power it back up again.

Make sure that you have the old sim card in your phone when you're porting your phone. You should get a message from your old carrier asking to confirm if you would like to port your number. Your reply should be: YES.

The confirmation message can take a few minutes to come in. You have 90 minutes from the time of request.

(this is an open forum, you might want to remove your personal email address.  Please go back to your post, click the 3 dots , edit your post to remove it)

Please note during porting, it is normal that your previous service provider line will be fully functional, but the Public Mobile line will only be able to make outbound calls/text only.

First, did you response to SMS sent by your previous provider? Your previous provider with send you a SMS to validate the transfer and you need to reply YES within 90 mins
If you missed it, let us know and we will advise what to do to re-trigger the SMS.

If you already replied the SMS with a YES, then you just need to wait a bit. It can take as much as 2 hours, although it usually quicker, to get the porting completed. In the meantime, just reboot your phone every 15 mins and try to call your phone to see if it is getting incoming calls.
