UMIDIGI Phones Supported

PatB
Good Citizen / Bon Citoyen

I've checked the models supported & unfortunately, the one I'm interested in doesn't appear in the drop down list.

I'm really hoping that the drop down list isn't up to date.

Can someone please comment if it is & if so, why the UMIDIGI A7 Pro doesn't qualify? Is there any chance that it will qualify any time soon?

Thank you.

The Umidigi A7 Pro works perfectly with Public Mobile.  Just received mine and everythhing works as expected, hope this answers your question.

Thanks so much. o/

@PatB  Not a problem. Just have the Public Mobile APN settings handy because your going to have to enter them manually to get the data up and running.

Thanks so much. Once I receive the phone, I'm pretty sure to be back here. 🙂

@PatB  All Umidigi phones are compatible with Public Mobile. All Umidigi models are Global models and support most world bands so nothing to worry about.

@PatB if you haven't already activated. Here's 4 articles on activation and porting and the Refer a friend reward  if you need them:

1. What you require to activate https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/what-you-need-to-activate
2.How to activate https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/activation-account-set-up
3.How to port https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/choose-your-phone-number
4. Refer a friend https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/the-refer-a-friend-reward

Please note your previous providers account must be active to port your number.  The port will close it once its completed. Welcome to the community. Stay safe.

I saw this as well & while I didn't see the model in the list, I felt it must be supported. Really appreciate the confirmation though. Thank you. o/

@PatB its supported. I'm currently waiting for one to arrive from Aliexpress. It has 3g bands 3 and 5 and 4g band 4 plus more.

This part should say bands 2 and 5. UMTS band 3 would be of no help.

The compatibility list will never be fully up-to-date. Ensure that the phone has UMTS 850 and 1900MHz.
