Trying to Activate an account

Even though it's my first time trying to activate said account, it keeps displaying the same error message  The SIM number you’ve entered is currently reserved by another session. Please close all open browsers and try again after 50 min.

 

and I have cleared my cookies and cache, tried incognito mode but it still says the same thing. This has been going on for 3 hours

 

Can someone please help

PM server does not handle going back a page very well.  If you go back a page after added you SIM card number.  Your SIM card will be locked to that failed session.  Go get a  coffee and come back after an hour to try again.  You need to restart your browser in order to start with a new session state.

Once again I appreciate all the help, I worked with Simon he deferred me to here to create an account and work with one of the MOD's who is working with me at the moment hopefully I can get this up and running as I really like what Public Mobile Stands for and just want to be a part of it

@Mattredwingsfan if you got as far as adding payment check to see if your credit card was charged and try inserting the SIM card into your phone. If it works try loggimg into your self service account.  If it says it doesnt exist try creating one https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/self-registration/ . Of this fails contact the moderators and ask them to gelp you set up one. There are 2 ways to contact the Moderator Team:

  • Faster response- Get help with your account the easy way by starting a conversation with our virtual assistant, SIMon. It’ll take you to relevant help articles, or if it’s something more urgent, it can help you submit a ticket to the Moderator Team. Click here to get started.
  • Slower- Alternatively, you can send a private message to the Moderators by clicking here. You’ll need to be logged in to your Community account for the link to work.

Once connected to Simon, you will be asked to log in again with your community user name and password.  Please do, this allows you to continue and send your message.
- Check your private message sent box (click on the envelope top right of your screen) to make sure the message was sent.

- Keep an eye on the envelope top right of your screen.  The mods answer will show up there.  When it does, you will be asked to verify your self service account, with your password and login. Doing so allows the process to continue. Stay safe.
