Travelling to the US for a single day and would like to use my Public Mobile service while there.  Is this possible, what is the upcharge and how do you pay it??

Pay $10 to buy data only bundle, or pay $25 to buy data+text+call 3in1 bundle. Both last 10 days, do it before you leave Canada.

Since this is only for one day, changing your plan usually isn't the best idea.  How long from now will you be going?  If you to decide to switch to a plan that includes U.S. roaming, I would at least schedule the to change to occur during renewal (if that timig works for your trip). If you do an immediate plan change, you lose your current plan's payment.

Otherwise, you will need to get a 10 at roaming add-on. Please note that the 10 days starts immediately upon purchase.

Without either changing to the $60 plan or purchasing a roaming add-on, only incoming text messages wil work in the U.S.  The remaimder of your service would not function.

@Grandpoco

You will be able to receive texts without roaming add on.  Everything else needs an add on or upgrading your plan.

@Grandpoco  Click on the ? bottom right of your page and enter US Roaming addons and Simon will list available options.

@Grandpoco log into your self serve account and add the money you need to pay for the add on you want and then purchase the add on. Will you be just calling or texting also and do you need data for that day?

There are add-ons you'll could choose from, talking texting data and combination of them. Depending what kind of services you need over there.

Login to your self-serve and you'll can find all the addons there

If you are on 50 (or even in some cases 40) plan most of the time it makes sense just to upgrade to the new traveling plan

Note if you decide to go with an add-on you will first need to put money on your account then purchase it

If you decide to go with 60 plan, do  the immediate change the day before leaving but you would lose the money for current service

Also you will have to decide if the cost is worth it for only one day. Maybe you can just open a VoIp account with fongo or textNow and forward your calls to it. They both give you Canadian number that you will have access to when you have access to WiFi. They both give you unlimited calling. TextNow gives calling and texting to both Canada and USA.
