Just want to know if i got the process right:
-Buy sim card
-activate sim card and create acount
-Insert sim card and get bell to unlock my phone.
Is that right?

@Alex66That would work.. but it might be easier if you get Bell to unlock your phone while you still have an active account with Bell (which automatically closes after you have ported out)

Ok but any risk of losing my phone number that way?
thanks
If you are transferring (porting) you would need to keep your Bell account active.
Here is more info about porting.

As long as you keep your bell account active until number is ported to Public Mobile you will not loose your number.
Ensure the cell you have is unlocked.
@Alex66 I would pick a new number when activating and then after the new Sim and account work then go back in your new self serve account and port in your bell number! Also don't forget a refferal code so you get 10$ on your new activation
