Have you cancelled your Koodo account yet?
"Most importantly, do not cancel your service before you switch to the new provider.Tell your new phone provider that you want to keep your number. They will take care of the transfer for you – they’ll ask for some personal details to set up your account and ask you which services you want to keep, remove or change."
@thslaa Perfect. Do not cancel until your number is ported. Follow the advice you’ve received and contact the mods either through SIMon or direct message to complete the process. Be aware it can take a few hours for the port to be finalized. Welcome to PM!
You need moderator help to port your Koodo number once you activate with a temporary cell phone number. Type "Port Request" and follow the prompts to get to one. Give them the name on the account, phone number to port and the old providers account number. There are 2 ways to contact the Moderator Team:
Keep an eye on the envelope top right of your screen. The mods answer will show up there. Stay safe.

Keep your koodo account active until the port process is complete. While waiting for the process to complete, you may continue to use your koodo sim to receive your calls and texts. Once the port is complete, your koodo account will be closed automatically and all calls plus texts will be directed to your publc mobile sim.
