I just inserted a new SIM card into an old rogers phone. It is asking me for a SIM network pin. Can someone advise?

it looks like your phone is locked to your previous provider's network.
You can get the unlock code from your previous provider .

@Velu its locked to Rogers. Contact them and ask them to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number dial *#06# to get it. If its a Samsung phone contact Samsung online and ask them to unlock it for you. Stay safe.

The unlock code will be unique to the phone, and will have to be provided by the previous carrier. They should be able to provide it to you with a quick support call or chat. The unlock code is usually exactly 16 digits. You will need to provide them the IMEI number of your phone. You can get this by dialing *#06# on the locked phone.

Your phone is locked to a carrier. Call up that carrier and ask them to unlock your phone for you.
