I WANT TO USE MY EXISTING KOODOO NUMBER AND I  AM SETTING UP I HAVE TAKEN A PUBLIC MOBILE NUMBER AS INSTRUCTED BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE NEXT STEP IS

Note that currently those instructions are not valid, as on Friday Public Mobile announced that the automated porting function in the self-serve portal is down, and requests need to be requested by contacting a mod:

Send it with "Port request" in the subject line. And keep an eye on the envelope top right of your screen.  The answer from the mods will show up there.

In the message on the self serve page, Public Mobile has asked customer to type in "port request" in SIMon to properly categorize and prioritize the reqeust.  The good news for the customer is how all that "human" and "account specific issue" stuff will be skipped.

Create a moderator support ticket to port your Koodo number to PM using the ? button at the right side bottom corner of this page.

1. Tell SIMon what is the issue
2. Ask for "moderator"
3. SIMon will give your 2 choices. Click on the "Account-specific question"
4. Then, click on "No, I want a human"
5. Click "Submit a ticket"
6. Follow instruction to create support ticket.

So you're all set up and working with the new account?

Now you need to contact the moderators to perform the transfer/port.

Hopefully the question mark bubble appears on your screen to the lower right. Click on that and start asking and eventually it should get to a simple form to complete and follow the rest of the steps to get to them.
