No problem yet as I can't activate my SIM.  Working on that with a moderator.  I just didn't want to activate if the Sky Phone III would not work.

Is it carrier UNlocked?

Don't have that phone, but my quick search shows that it has 3G bands: 850 and 1900, so it should work fine.

Any phone with those bands will work on Public mobile, btw.

+1

Sky Pro III is selling by staples.ca.  It supports the 3G

SIMon says PM supports the following frequencies.

PM uses 3G for voice calls.  This phone will work with PM using 3G only for call/text/data.

Edit: Too slow to compose my post.  Well, my post is the summary of what was said earlier.

It was a gift but I am sure it was purchased in Canada.

@flipgateau , if you purchased it from a Canadian retailer like staples, it should work.  I have seen overseas models that have compatibility problems.
