Prospective Customer Where to Get Free SIM

DavidSan

Hi PM Community,

I like what Public Mobile is offering and am interested to join. Is there anywhere currently (e.g. Walmart) that offers SIM cards for free? (I'm in the GTA area)

Thanks!

I got my SIM from Canadian Cell supplies after 4 - 5 business days!

I checked at my local Wal-Mart and they said they don't even have PM SIMs other than top-up

So I just ended up buying online from https://canadiancellsupplies.com/ with the Sunday discount

At my local Walmart they still (last 4 I have done there) seem to offer it free if you sign up for at least the minimum plan with them ($10p/m) which is easy enough to do since it can be changed as soon as you access your new online account, which is also where you can port your previous number or landline number across.  The clerk does all of the grunt work putting in you details and credit card payment - you can setup autopay for the $2 credit later if you want or just put it in right away.  If you really just want the sim (for a replacement say) then you just have to pay Walmart the $10.

Thanks! I ordered one last Sunday with the Sunday discount

There are free offers on Craigslist and eBay.

@DavidSan don't buy from PM, just go to a store and avoid the headache of not knowing when your sim is going to arrive. PM sells for full price right now anyway.

@DavidSan .... I would suggest buying it from PM like many us have. Like others say, I dont think there is any offers for a free sim, but i could be wrong. A sim at PM is about $10 plus tax, which is not a lot of money. If some one refers you and when you activate the sim card you get $10 which is not a bad deal. So when you do activate the simcard, make sure you enter the referal code to get the $10. The person giving you a code will get $1/month off as long as your a PM customer.

@DavidSan  currently there's no free so, offer out there that I'm aware of. . The $10 referral code refer a friend reward rebate on signup is supposed to make your SIM free.

An option is to buy your SIM card from Canadian cell supplies for a discounted price https://canadiancellsupplies.com/collections/latest-products/products/public-sim-card

Do it on Sunday for an additional 40% discount https://canadiancellsupplies.com/pages/discount-codes

Welcome to the community. Stay safe. Here's 4 articles on activation and porting and the Refer a friend reward  if you need them:
