Porting from Ooma

I'm new to PM and presently in the process of porting my phone number from Ooma to PM. Ooma is a VoIP service that I have been using here in Canada for the past few years. When I originally ported my number from Shaw to Ooma it was a real pain. Took about a month and many phone calls to Ooma and Shaw. To help others successfully port from Ooma to PM here is some info that may or may not be required by PM.

first name: "OOMA"
last name: "INC"
account number: "1" followed by my phone number (including area code, just the numbers)
PIN: (blank no number or words)
Address: 1880 Embarcadero Rd
City: Palo Alto
State: CA
Zip: 94303

Yeah, mostly it’s a pain porting in and out of any VoIP service

I have Ooma  for home phone. Porting was a big hassle.

Hi

I recently helped a friend port their number from Talkatone (ooma owns them) to fongo, they only needed the name and number, that's all. Port was completed on day 4. I did advise her to contact both prior as it looked so strange to me how little she needed for it.

Thanks for sharing it will be useful for the next person contemplating the same move
