Hello!

Moving from Koodo to Public mobil, I am trying to register my new public mobile sim card. During the process, when its come to register my old phone number, I have the message "Please enter a valid Canadian phone number'

There are a couple of reasons you could be getting this message as mentioned if you have a koodo prepaid account you must take a temporary number and contact customer support after activation to transfer your koodo prepaid number to your pm account.

 

You can double check that your number is portable ( but here the mere fact it is from koodo means it is...) here...

Or you could just be glitchy so by following this method your activation will go much smoother...

 

  1. Clear your browser.
  2. Reboot your device.
  3. Open one tab only.
  4. Use secret/incognito mode.
  5. Firefox, chrome, safari or edge work best.

That live chat is more a sales chat.. not really for  technical support

Make sure that you have the old sim card in your phone when you're porting your phone. You should get a message from your old carrier asking to confirm if you would like to port your number. Your reply should be: YES.

 

The confirmation message can take a few minutes to come in. You have 90 minutes from the time of request.

In order to transfer a phone number over to Public Mobile - you will need to activate an account with a temporary phone number and after that your contact Customer Support Agent by CS_Agent, for the transfer your number to Public Mobile,

do you have Koodo Prepaid or Postpaid service?

i suggest you can try it for a different Browser and incognito mode,

close all Browser and do clear cache and cookies for any Browser,

how to clear cache and cookies in microsoft edge browser visit Here link,

and use a Browser from your computer,is better

use Browser microsoft edge or chrome latest version
and just make sure your Browser is up to date update
sometime is the Browser is not update is give a issue.

and Restart your computer, is will help a lot,

 

and if you use a home internet please do one thing take your power internet off for about

a 1 minute and put it back on,to refreshing your network,
