No internet connection when data is ON

I bought a phone, (UMDIGI A9) unlocked, on amazon two days ago and subscribed to the 35 dollar plan. https://www.umidigi.com/page-umidigi_a9_overview.html.

I bought my simcard and plan at Walmart

However, I am unable to browse the net outside any wifi range. In other words I am unable to browse using my data. I still have alot of data on my phone.

I can receive and send messages.

I have ran through the hoops on this page: https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/set-up-data-on-an-android-phone,

This includes inputing the names CORRECTLY, no caps, no spaces, good spelling etc etc.

But so far nothing has resolved the issue, even after re-booting the phone.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Mike

@Wanjimike  UMDIGI is a bit tricky to setup.  Its an APN settings that needs to tweak

check this link for how to get to the APN setting on UMIDIGI

Double check your APN settings.  Did you turn in data ?  You might need to do a factory reset.

my phone is UMDIGI A9. Any help would be appreciated

My data plan is 2 days old, so i still have lots of data on my phone,

i can receive messages and make calls.

thanks

Mike

@Wanjimike   what is the issue again?  you can only load webpages or use app when on Wifi and unable to use Mobile Data?

What brand and model of phones do you have?

Give us more specific details, like can you at least make calls or receive calls? just Mobile data is the issue?

@Wanjimike...to get the most help, best to start a new thread.
