I recently transferred in from another carrier and I am able to receive and send calls and texts to another device. But for 2FA authentication like WeChat or Banking apps sending texts or voice messages/calls to confirm my identity, my device is not able to receive theses communications. I have the following plan and addons:
Any idea how I can receive these messages?

I think in this case you need to contact a moderator, because there is a block on short text codes. A specialist should be able to remove this.

Thanks for the quick response. I tried with another device on Fido and noticed that it isn't able to send messages or dial the ported number. Is this a porting issue or should I just wait a few days

@blurpleberry hi I have read from other posts for 2FA authentication like WeChat or Banking apps there is usually a 24 to 48 hour wait after porting from another cell provider before they work

Any idea how I can receive these messages?
There have been some reports that after a complete number ported, these types of messages don't work for the first 48 hours. I would try again after waiting a few days.
