"BE PATIENT. Activations are "instant". Port-ins take a "MINIMUM" of two hours. This is a best-case scenario. Right now with a backlog of thousands of activation and port-in requests, do you think this is a best-case scenario? Give it at least 24 hours AFTER submitting your activation port-in request before you start to panic. Think spamming a mod is gonna make it quicker? No. You've been told in the main sticky that it's a bad idea. So don't. Slap yourself on the wrist before you send another PM."

Who is your previous carrier? Your previous carrier has to release your number to Public Mobile and this can easily take a couple of hours. If it is a landline number or a VOIP number it can take substantially longer to get it released.

@AnupamApu reset your network settings to speed up the process

1. Open Settings>General Management>Reset
2. Tap Reset Network Settings>Tap Reset Settings
If prompted enter your pin, passcode
3. Tap Reset Settings 1 more time to confirm
4. Restart

Hi @AnupamApu

Welcome to Public Mobile!

This is completely normal. Your port transfer is still in progress.

If you transferred from a mobile provider, you can try restarting your phone or check again in the morning. The process should be complete by then.

Otherwise if you transferred from VOIP or a landline, the process will take longer, possibly 1 week.

This means that your number hasn't transfered yet (or the transfer has failed).  Wait a bit longer, but in the meanwhile, if your old carrier's service is still working, continue to use that as incoming phone calls will still be going there.
