No calls or text after transferred the number (new account)

Just transferred my account from Fido yesterday around 8pm  and having trouble with receiving calls and texts. I didn't receive successful transfer text from you  yet so it doesn't seem working normally as it should be now. 

My friend tried calling & texting me several times today and my phone doesn't receive any of these so far. 

Followed all the procedure on your guidelines in order to set up a new account and transfer the number. Please let me know when I can receive a welcome message as a confirmation also wondering when my phone's calls and texts will be starting to work normally.  

Anyone who has experienced similar thing just like me, would you please advise what I can do on my end now to make it work or improve. thanks.

Your port must've got screwd up. I would contact a moderator. My port only took 1 hour so somethings messed there

Yes you should definitely have all the phone services working by now. 

 

Can you try rebooting your phone.  Another thing to try is to power off your phone, remove the SIM and wait 5 mins, re-insert the SIM and restart the phone.

 

If that doesn't work try submitting a ticket to moderators via SIMon here: https://publicmobile.ca.ada.support/chat/

 

Type in your issue, select contact us/moderators, then submit ticket when these options appear and follow the rest of the prompts to finish.

@yllh703 Your port is probably stuck. Contact the moderators. Click on the green questionmark in the white circle at the bottom right of your screen.  This connects to the autobot Simon.  Type moderator and follow the prompts to get to one (CLICK on account specific question and human and submit a ticket)
Once connected, you will be asked to log in again with your community user name and password.  Please do, this allows you to continue and send your message.

Check your private message sent box (click on the envelope top right of your screen) to make sure the message was sent. Also keep an eye on the envelope, the mods answer will show up there.
You can also enable email notification to receive a private message notification sent to your email.
Go into your community account > my settings > PREFERENCES > Private Messenger > enable "Receive email notifications for new private messages" > Save

Your port is incomplete.  You would need to contact a moderator by submitting a ticket by clicking on the question mark on the bottom right.
