New to Public Mobile - Data NOT working after trying suggestions from this community

I have a AXON ZTE phone, just started Public Mobile last week.  It took extra time to get the SIM card to actually activate.  Someone called and followed up that my phone was working. (Thanks!)  However, at the time I did not realize that my data was not working (at home and WIFI was fine).    Can a moderator please help me figure out why data will not work?  Thank you! @Moderator_Team

Here is a good place to check if your particular phone will work with Public Mobile.

When it comes to Data, you need to have the correct APN settings.

Here are the recommended APN settings for Public Mobile.

On another note, there was a previous thread about the AXON ZTE with a solution.

Take a look there and see if that is helpful for your needs.

How long until they reply?:

 

  • Office Hours: Mon-Friday 9 am to 9 pm, and Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 7:30 pm [Toronto Time]

 

  • Typical response time is between 1-3 hours, depending on how many messages in the queue, but can be up to 48 hours. Prepare for the longer wait time lately though. There seems to have been a backlog, unless it has been clearing up.

@Jarvar I've only quoted a small piece of your reply but the whole reply was great, well done.  I also wanted to thank you for this link.  For some reason I've never bookmarked that page (but have now done so).  I was hoping to find it and include it for the OP myself but wasn't able to from a quick Google search.

The ZTE Axon does work on the Public Mobile network.  I know several people that use the phone.  IIRC manual APN entry was needed.  Other than that, getting data to work is a level of effort.
