Issue with Line Port from Bell

Hello, 

 

I'm trying to port my number with Bell but keep getting an error that is has been rejected.

 

I have tried multiple times and am still having the same issue.  all information matches, so im not sure what the issue is.

@kevperciv  Are you trying to port a Bell landline? If yes, do you have other services attached to that number? If yes, best to call Bell and find out if you allowed to port out with your current configuration.

Are you on a Bell corporate plan?

If yes, you need to switch to an individual Bell plan first before posting.

my error message is

  •   • Account Number doesn’t match Old Service Provider records
  •   • Equipment Serial Number doesn’t match Old Service Provider records
  •   • Security PIN doesn’t match Old Service Provider records
  •   • Alternate Contact Number format (should be 10-digits, no spaces, no dashes)
  •   • Did not check the “I am authorized…” checkbox

      • Please review and correct your entries, and click “Submit”

Is PM server reject your Bell number on the initial number porting step?

Your Bell number must be active before you can port your number to PM.

Is your Bell line active?  It needs to be active.  

Is it a landline or mobile?

 

Usually need account number.

its not asking for an account number which i found to be odd.

With Bell, the information needed 

1. Account holder name

2. Account number

3. Phone number

Avoid using PIN, IME information

 

What message are you getting when it gets rejected?
