@pd154It shows as $30, but actually reduces the overall cost of the plan by more than $30. Because you have 3 options or a pre-made plan you get a "bundle discount" 

As an example, build a 90 day plan, unlimited canada wide with 12+3gb bonus

Its $180 with no texting

$135 with texting

Even if you don't use texting, having texting gives you a huge discount.
