I bought a new SIM and on attempt to activate the SIM after selecting a phone number and a plan, I got the error message "Invalid SIM". I urgently need this resolved please.

The actual error messages that sometimes shows on the screen say a 50 minute wait, but some users have found that the amount of time that needs to be waited is considerably less (as is the stated 1 hour time for self self password lockout much less than 1 hour). If you go back at any point, the activation will fail. That's just one of the strange tings that go on at Public Mobile when it comes to activation website.

Check to see if your credit card was charged. If it was then try putting in your phone to see if you get service.
If there was no charge then try waiting an hour and try activating again.

Phone number and plan selection is further on during the activation process than where entering the SIM card number is. Never go back after proceeding past the first page or the activation will fail.

@Chinwe , if you did not progress to the payment page and made a payment, please delete browser cache, wait an hour for the session lock to clear and give it another try. Incognito mode has been known to be effective against this activation bug.
