Free Sim

I haven't been a member for a few years but I would like to get back to Public Mobile. I see now they are charging $10 to mail a sim card. Is there anyway to get one for free (in store or for returning customers)?

Bonus question. Having been on LTE for several years, how do people find dropping down to 3G? I don't stream video but I do steam music and browse reddit (so I guess there are videos there). Do you really notice the speed that much?

Thanks!

Welcome back to public mobile. The biggest difference you'll see with throttled 4G LTE  data is your usage will go down for using as you did before....especially with video content. Otherwise you will enjoy as before just for less money out of your pocket.

When it comes to getting spammed with referral codes that is unacceptable. If you feel any or all were out of line you can always report the user at the bottom left of their message. A warning or worse from pm might prevent this from happening to new users. Etiquette goes a long way in making a good impression....if you have at more questions ask away were always happy to help!

Community members should not be spamming people with private messages.  Unless you publicly asked for a referral code.

Can a mod delete this? Now I'm getting tons of private messages begging I use their referral code.

Canada Cell Supplies sells SIMs for $3.33 with free shipping which is the best deal that I'm aware of. Also, I find no difference in PM's "3G" data. It's essentially just throttled LTE. It works fine for all the apps that I use.

@spoolinx86 its LTE throttled to 3 mbts. Personally, I dont see the difference for my light browsing. Sometimes Walmart gives a free SIM with in store activation.  Try Canadian cell supplies https://canadiancellsupplies.com/collections/latest-products/products/public-sim-card

Currently the Sim is $3.33 each with free shipping.  And you can use a referral code to get $10 credit.

Here's 4 articles on activation and porting and the Refer a friend reward  if you need them:
