Error with New Activation

Signed up at Walmart in Edmonton and the Activation went through, all paper work was given to me but the balance from the voucher did not activate on the account, still saying $43 for a $35 plan. Can't make phone calls or text message. Tried entering the voucher card a second time but it did not work. Account is saying that it is EXPIRED and that I need to top up by Nov. before it would be canceled but also had a $0 balance.

Did you account for sales tax in the cost of your plan?

Sorry to hear about your troubles.  

 

What denomination of payment voucher did you buy?  Is your balance $43 right now?  Did you check "payment history".  Hard to say what is exactly going on.  More information may be helpful.  How much did you pay at Walmart?  etc...  Did you get a new phone number?  port a number?

This problem is difficult to figure out.  If activating at a store, they won't be able to set up the account unless the require payment was made into the account at the time of set up.  Why is a voucher being entered a second time?  Dollar figures mentioned in the account always do not include tax.  Even though they are pretax amounts, taxes have to be paid in order to add that amount of funds into the account.  Anyway, there is no way to explain how $43 is required for a $35 plan.  @gallaRee, you need to better explain the problem in order for us to assist.

This is what was showing. Although it started working this morning sometime so maybe it just didn't process until the next business day? But thank you for the response.

Great to hear that it is working.....  The website is sometimes just weird especially around payment dates.  Lots of different warnings about expired accounts, etc.  Bottom line is that it is working now.....  The payment should come out of balance in next 12-24 hours....

Payment history was blank, but top up amount said $0. The plan that was chosen was $35 and Walmart sells $43 voucher. We uploaded the voucher in store and it showed up on the account, but didn't activate. It was a brand new number, not ported.
