If I want to add a line for my child can I put it under my current account or do I have to make a separate account for their phone? Also if I have to make a separate account can I even do that with all the same information as my first account? Or will it say something like “there is already an account with that email/name/address” or whatever.

PublicMobile (PM) doesn’t offer multiple lines on one account.
1. Make a gmail account for each child. This is fairly quick and easy
2. Use those gmail accounts to create public mobile accounts. MAKE SURE TO REFER EACH ACCOUNT TO THE OTHER! e.g. you get a monthly $1 discount from child A and child A gets monthly $1 discount from child B.
3. Use the same credit card with autopay for all accounts. You’ll get a $2 autopay discount each month.

There are several options with gmail. Gmail doesn't recognize the '.' in an address so one account could be youraddress@gmail.com and one could be your.address@gmail.com and emails to both end up in the same inbox.
Also check out the gmail settings since there are ways to check email from other accounts and have those emails imported into gmail.
Although really, PM communicates mostly through text message and I don't remember the last time I have gotten an email from them that wasn't a promotion. So setting up a dummy account that you never check would also work.

Unfortunely, PM does not offer family plans. You would need to create a separate account as you can only have one phone#, account, email per sim.

Hi.
There is no concept of multiple lines in an account in PM, or shared plans. You will need a different E-mail to create another account, but it does not check duplicate credit cards so you can use the same one.
I have 2 PM lines for my kids and I log into each account separately. I wish PM had a multi-account system, but it’s probably the best to have separate ones for when the kids take over the account.

Different email is required.
Don't forget to log into your self serve account and get your "referral" code so you can take advantage of the refer a friend program.

@Chassech all you need is a different email address, all the rest can be the same, even the same credit card for autopay
