All good, got help from a tech at London Drugs and he input the correct settings , thanks

Have you verified that the cellular option is activated? If not, deactivate and reactivate as this can help.

Also try restarting your phone.

Yep, I asked about text and calls working just to determine if his phone works at all. I BELIEVE that phone is compatible with Public Mobile network. Chances are it's APN settings or data not turned on as @NDesai says.

@short5 No data usually has to do with incorrect APN settings or data is not turned on. 

Post a screenshot of the APN settings so we can see if that is correctly set up.

Look under Network Setting and make sure it doesn't say 2G only, all PM data uses 4 LTE, if you have 3G in your plan it is actually throttled 4 LTE.
