@ChrisB78: Note: If the SIM has been previously activated in the past it will also give you the same error message during activattion. If it was new then wait and try again in about an hour.

Is your SIM card came from the retail store or online? If it’s from the store, I would suggest going to the store, make sure it’s not damaged.
