Activation issue - Can call, can't receive calls

I arrive from Chatr and I tried to port my number. 

When I look at my phone number in my phone settings, it's the right number. When I call another phone, it displays the right number. But I still can't receive any calls, it goes directly to voicemail. 

 

Any idea what should I do ?

@Azfar1 hi it sounds like your port is not complete yet it can take a few hours just be patient Smiley Happy

@Azfar1  that's how it works until the port is complete!  Yoi should receive a text saying welcome to public mobile, your port is complete. After that it will work!

@Azfar1 Try your chatr SIM. If it's working the port is still in progress. Do not cancel your chatr account.

If it has already stopped working and you cannot receive calls, the port has failed and you will need moderator assistance. 

To get a ticket:

  1. the ? on the lower right of this page,

  2. enter "ticket",

  3. click "Contact us",

  4. click "Submit ticket",

  5. login manually if your username/password are not filled in,

  6. click the drop down menu (in the white area),

  7. pick the topic that fits your issue and follow the directions to submit it.

@Azfar1 Put Chatr sim back in phone. Call *611. Ask Chatr for account number. If after 3 hours, porting isn't done, do the ticket thing. Use Chatr to receive calls. It will stop working when porting's done.

@Azfar1  This is excellent advice by @Luddite  however you may not be comfortable having partial service while waiting for a moderators response. If you need full service sooner rather than later you may be be able to speed up the completion of your port by being proactive. If by morning nothing has changed and you have not been contacted by a moderator you can try and have the telus porting department  finish the port for you. However they cannot access your pm account so if the issue lies there you will have to wait it out. If you are the account holder and along with your account information/number try calling the telus porting department....i believe they open at 8am et.  Dial 1 877 868 3587  prompt 1.
