@will13am I usually suggest people dial into their voicemail and record and activate an "extended absence greeting". When that greeting is active, nobody can leave you a message. They hear the extended absence greeting you recorded, and then the call ends. So I suggest people leave a personal message asking folks to text them instead, or something along those lines.
Great idea. I think I am going to recite the first two chapters of Dostoyevsky's crime and punishment instead of a standard greeting. That should eliminate all voice messages. Now if only Public Mobile would implement voice mail like Google, then I won't mind. I get an email with voice clip and text translation.
Speaking of voice mail, mobile syrup is doing a poll on voice mail. So far, about 1/3 of respondents actually leave voice messages all the time.

if you don't have VM you wouldn't have received the VM from PM.

Hey @liban961,
If you never set up your voicemail, you should not be getting any voicemail notifications from PM. Do you not remembering setting up your voicemail??
As others have said, voicemail is free and people will be directed to your voicemail if you can't answer the call or if your phone is switeched off or your phone is not getting signal.

Voicemail is included for free on all current Public Mobile plans . According to the PM website "All plans include Voicemail and Call Display"
Yes if your phone is off you will still be able to recieve voicemail
Hope that helps

@liban961, not sure what you mean about receiving a voicemail message from PM everyday? Yes, voicemail is included in your plan. Do you need it? Not sure that is for you to decide.
