unlocked iPhone from U.S. - work in Canada

Hi all,

 

I can't imagine it being a problem, but assuming an iPhone is purchased in the U.S. and it is unlocked....it should work here at Public Mobile. Correct ?  Thanks !!

@tedduf You can try to the Apple Store and ask if the phone is locked. If so, they can unlocked it.

@teddufIt depends which model of iPhone you are talking about. There are a few variants of iPhones in the states that are tailored for the CDMA network of Sprint and Verizon. Those will not work with Public Mobile with LTE (they are usually not locked). However some of those have a SIM slots where it will work with Public Mobile but only at 3G speeds.
