two sim cards and one lost phone

I lost my phone and bought a new one and a new sim card. I activated my new sim card after cancelling my old one, paid for a month of service and then the final step stated i now have two accounts and have to link the two. Only way to link the two is by getting a code sent to my lost phone number. Cannot activate my new phone with new sim?

I cant even use my new number under my new account as it wont let me pass the final activation stage which is sending a code to my old number? Im not looking for a refund i just want to use my new phone and new sim. Its under a completely different email then my old but it wants me to link my new account with my old which i cannot do. when i try to login under my new email it goes straight to the link both accounts page with zero other options i cant even back out of the page

Sorry, but the account cannot be linked, nor can phone numbers be transfered from one Public Mobile account to another.   Your new account is seperate from your old one and the account login would also be different.

As for your old phone number, to get that back you woud need to purchase (another) Public Mobile SIM card and attach it to your old account.   Unfortunately, Public Mobiel doesn't usually offer refunds as plan purchases are final sale.  Do you need your old phone number back or are you happy using your new phone number instead?

you shouldn't have activated the new sim.

You should have got a new sim card and message support and ask them to help to grant you access back to your old account and update the sim card for you

It is a bit late, but still fixable, you might have to buy a new sim card link it back to the old account and cancel the new account.  Please message support and see if they can help:
