trying to open a new account but my phone number is already used on another account

I opened an account for my dad and used my number as a secondary contact....now I cannot seem to open an account as it says my phone number is registered to another account

I changed the number for his secondary contact and it still won't let me. How can I open an account for myself with my number

You can open an account with a temporary number for now and message the moderators to take a look into your issue.  Just don't close out the account with number you want to port in before it's resolved.

Can you log into self serve under your father's account and see if your number is listed instead of his?

If it's not, clearing the browser cache and using incognito mode as @will13am says is a much quicker solution than submitting a ticket.

Both will likely work tho.

Best to send a message to Moderator_Team via SIMon ? mark bubble bottom right of the screen to submit a ticket.

@frankolson, what you are saying doesn't seem to make sense.  That contact number is for contact only. It can be used many times over.  All my accounts use the same contact number.  Are you sure you didn't port your number?  You could try again after clearing browser cache.
