talk & text plan? I'm downgrading to Alcatel flip phone

I have the phone. 

I bought a new SIM. 

I put the new SIM in the Alcatel flip. Seems to be working. I can send/receive texts and the network is showing correctly as is my phone number. 

I am trying to change subscription plans because I will not need data. If I can only get a plan with data, I guess that's ok but if I can't switch plans to a cheaper subscription, I guess I will find a different network.

Ok thanks. Guess I should have listened to the guy selling SIM cards and gotten one for Koodo or something.

unfortunately, it's not easy to downgrade to much cheaper plans and there are no plans without data. You can only opt for whatever plan you see available to you when you log in to your own account.
