Hi,
I just joined PM. I'm on the $25 plan. My phone is redmi6. I've looked at the phone compatibility & I don't see my phone on the list. nevertheless, I've search previous threads and it seems that redmi6 will work on 3G bandwidth. But I'm having a problem because my internet data just not showing up on the phone. when I put the sim card into an older iphone6s it works. So what am I missing? Do I have to do something to these xiaomi phones to get them to connected to data? THanks a million.

Is the above pic supplied by @esjliv your phone? If it's running Android OS 8.1 you are probably going to run into an issue with the edit option for the APN either not there or the APN settings will be greyed out. Check if you have option to update your OS to 9.0.
Otherwise your options to edit the APN would be to use a freedom sim card or a roam sim card (If you are out west London Drugs still have roam sim cards for sale online for less than $1.) If you go this route come back here and we will walk you thru the procedure.
Alternatively you can contact customer support and ask them to text you a configuration file to set up your APN. If you get a newbie CSA you may have to ask them to consult a senior colleague for it.

@Johanghaz - this your phone? It has all the bands to be compatible here.
Is your DATA option on in the settings of your device?
Have you tried to reset the network settings on this device?

HI @Johanghaz You sure you have problem with 3G and not LTE?
did you test your LTE? You can use LTE but just speed is capped at "3G" speed
You problem is Data only seems to be a problem with APN settings
What APN setting current you have? can you provide a screenshot?

Try turn off then turn on the Wifi setting then reboot the phone by powering off the phone then power on the phone.

@Johanghaz : There are various variations on the details of the APN settings. If the ones linked above don't work then let us know. Also, what OS version is the phone on? There are some data entry issues with 8.1 and one or two others that don't let you even add an APN.
