phone log showing calls I didn't make to a random number

My phone is showing that it made calls, some 4 min long, some over 40 minutes long to a random number (which is always the same) area code 647.  I have a friend on Public as well, and she has the same thing happening, a couple of times to the same number as mine, as well as another number.  What is up?

Take a look at this link. See if the number is on it.

This may help understand it more. However, something is off as calling a voicemail or a person leaving a voicemail shouldn't take 40 minutes. That part seems odd.

if the number ends with 4001 or 4002, then no worries, that is your voicemail number

the call history will show any calls sent to VM when you didn't pick up the call or when you call VM to retrieve VM messages, the number it shows is that 4001 or 4002 number

so, no worries
