Are you an existing customer or a customer that just activated with a new number, or did you transfer one over from another provider?
Is your phone locked? Contact your previous provider to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number, dial *#06# to get it.

As your phone isn't working, the first thing you'll want to do is try restarting your device. Then, if the service still isn't working, you'll wish to try your Public Mobile SIM card in another phone. This may seem basic, but it will help to determine if the the issue is with your Public Mobile service or the settings and compatibilities of your phone.
