SO i went to opt in to the new point program but i didnt finish reading the page and now i want out because i dont want my bill to be more. How do i do that?

Yes I agree totally.
This is about Public Mobile reducing the churn and "encouraging" customers to a higher base plan.
Some reward benefits is better than Koodo's "no points for you".

the new rewards system forces customers to work harder at lowering their phone bill. it's sad they removed one of the easiest, but longest reward to achieve. the removal of auto-pay sure, but loyalty should have stayed... or they should at least revise it so each year the reward increases by 10 points up to 5 years. max 50 points in one year
the most one can earn is $1.6-3.5 off their phone bill no matter how long one stays. unless they are willing to fish for referrals or participate in the community/give back(which many customers won't)

This is buyers remorse.
In the scheme of things, participation in the new rewards system a customer still can reduce their monthly fee and have other options.
It is still a win for the customer as the "points are cashable" just not every month.
Get over it.

I am 100 % sure Public Mobile can reverse this, but does not want to set a precedent. The interface may or may not let a CSA reverse this easily. I think that if it was easy enough than they maybe would have had a grace period. Yes, I know that changes are final, but not every one will understand what this all means. My mom would definitely get this mixed up.

If this is the system going forward then one point of time, we all will be moved to the new system, it may be joining by a one time bonus points to join or with some changes to the point system to accommodate the existing rewards but it will be really hard to run both systems.

From reading all the previous Community members who asked the same question…it seems the answer is no you can’t reverse from the Public Points system.

I actually think that PM has done a decent job of spelling out the changes and forcing you to confirm that you are good with it. There wasn’t a disclaimer “unless it makes your bill higher” on the end before you agreed. And it clearly spells out that there is no going back. I would see it as an overall inexpensive consequence of not paying attention to what agree to. Sorry, but that is how I see it.

@Maki-s I think you passed the point of no return. Another user has done the same, he/she opened a ticket with PM immediately after but got back a response saying there is no going back.
Of course, you can try to open a ticket as well, but don't have your hope high. Please do come back and let us know how it turns out

Really, if you selected that agreeing to terms and conditions that is your contract agreement to switch over.
You could try asking CSA (as methods provided by @BeachNBeer ). But would be curious if you are successful, so please report back.

@Maki-s : I agree. It would be my opinion that one ought to be able to in this period of time where the system is doing something that apparently takes days to process. I would say it should be like buyers remorse. But we don't yet know if the company agrees with that standpoint.

yes way before the 25, and i clicked it but now i want out out cause now my bill will be more without the rewards applied to it . it was a bad mistake my end i didnt read it right

@Maki-s - were you a customer before January 25th?
If so, did you already tick the box below and proceed after that? Then you joined.
If you didn't tick the box, then you did not join.
If you were a new customer January 25th or after, you automatically are in the new rewards system.

@Maki-s Don't think you can unfortunately. Only thing you could do now is contact support and beg.

@Maki-s : We have not yet heard of any success stories for people wanting to back out. Unless they had to sign an NDA or something 🙂
So I would say you can't. Once you click that checkbox to proceed, with all the wording there and the terms and conditions...you're done.
Edit: And your wording implies intent...not like two others we've heard from that had felt mislead that they somehow had to.
