new phone compatibility (Moto g play 2024)

How can we tell which phones are compatible with public mobiles's network? I need to get a new phone because my old one is having battery issues and the battery life was never great to begin with. I am looking now at the Motorola Moto g play 2024. It's not expensive and it's similar to my current phone which is a Motorola. Could anyone tell me which newish Motorola phones are compatible with public mobiles's network? Thanks in advance.

The 2024 Moto G Play is compatible with all 4G/LTE and 3G but you didn’t specify if it has 5G.

If you currently have service with PM and have physical SIM the most direct way to confirm if new phone is going to work with PM is to get hold of that new phone (in the store, etc.) and try your SIM.
Some phones not on 'approved' PM list of phones work just fine with PM.

Side note, if you are to purchase THIS phone, keep an eye on sales at Costco as it's regular price is $209 and often goes down to $179
