I have a verizon phone US.. with dual sim capability. I know verizon doesn't work in Canada but can I take my Publicmoible SIM from my canadian phone and move it to my Samsung A16? I currently use the Phone with an Esim in the states but there is a slot for a physical SIM card as well and want to know if I can use it in canada with my publicmobile sim

hi @chaseS67
No special procedure, just pop the sim card out of the old phone and put it in the new

thank you... is there a procedure required by PM or is it just a matter of removing sim from my canadian phone and putting it into the new samsung a16?

@chaseS67 , Verizon is a roaming partner in the US so the bands should be generally compatible. If the phone is not locked to Verizon, you should be able to use a Public Mobile SIM in the phone.

hi @chaseS67
it is not dual sim phones does not work in Canada, it just a matter if the phone has the proper bands PM needs. If the phone was originally sold by Verizon, likely the phone will work.
So, very likely your PM sim card will work on that physical slot. (of course, the PM sim must be active with a PM account 🙂 )
