Do NOT ask bank for any backcharges if you see them in regards to PM as you will be banned using CC at PM for a year.

All you have to do is to login to your account then to the Payment tab>Update Card Information with your new CC number.

Meanwhile, you can pay with vouchers to continue service. You can purchase vouchers from 

7-11, Canadian Tire gas stations, London Drugs, Canadian Superstore, Shell, Shoppers Drugmart, Safeway, Staples

and dial 611 and enter the voucher number.

So I assume your credit card company is sending you out a new one. So if you want to get your phone back up and running, you can go to Shoppers Drug Mart and pick up a voucher with enough value to last a few months just in case it takes a while. You just dial 611 from your phone and follow the prompts. You'll be up and running in no time.
